This collection of thoughts and letters provides an insight into a man so full of energy and vigour who we were proud to call our father and grandad. We also wish to remember his soul mate, our mom and nan, and dedicate this book to both of them. Although the title, ‘Crumpled Bits Of Paper’, is taken from the B J Robertson song, ‘The Living Years’, this is not a tome written to compensate for anything not said or done by any of us. If we have any regret then it is only the fact that we did not have the opportunity to say one final goodbye. So let us take you on a trip through the life and times of the finest, husband, father, grandfather and friend that anyone could ever hope to have.
